Came in for a couples massage as a birthday gift for my husband. Unfortunately, they forgot about the herb foot soak that was advertised as part of the package. The massage was great, we both really enjoyed it. But the spa is in dire need of renovation which takes away from the experience. They have a sauna in the locker room but it was cold and smelled funny so I didn't use. The locker room lacked amenities, the only thing that was provided were q-tips. I asked for tea after the massage, they ran hot water through old leaves and essentially gave us a pot of hot water. After paying almost $600 we expected more..
I booked the balancing massage through ClassPass and Annie was phenomenal. Very gentle, yet firm — she found all the knots in my shoulders and massaged them out. The spa is cute and conveniently near Soho / Chinatown. It has a sauna and using that after the massage felt incredible. I’ll definitely be back.
I cannot recommend Eden Med Spa enough. From start to finish, every detail of our visit was pure bliss. We did the full body scrub, a couples massage, and a foot soak/massage — and each service was beyond exceptional. The level of care and hospitality we received made us feel truly pampered, and don’t even get me started on the tea… it was the perfect finishing touch to a flawless experience. I’ve been on the hunt for my go-to spa in NYC, and I can confidently say: I’ve found my spa home. Thank you to the entire team at Eden for creating such a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of the city. Already counting down to my next visit!
This is very poor spa place, very dirty you can tell once you go inside. I used my ClassPass 70 credits to do the European facial, and wasn’t sure how dirty this was. The pair of plastic shoes was dirty, and I highly wouldn’t recommend this!! And it is way too overpriced for the amenity and sanity that are lack of!
Had a prenatal massage at 33 weeks with Annie in October - she was absolutely wonderful! She listened to where I was having the most discomfort and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. Highly recommend booking with her!
I’ve been to many “Spas” in NYC and different states, and I must say that this place by far has been the worst place I’ve been to. I went there for a hot stone massage (gift), and it was mediocre. The customer service was ok, it felt fake. The back area where you sit and wait, is extremely dark. The chairs are worn out and you sink in,( I’m petite). There’s no hot tea and biscuit station as many other places. The bathrobes and towels are dingy in cleanliness and worn out, they definitely need to purchase better ones. The rooms are extremely small and not very inviting. No scented candles or relaxing ambience. Light switch cover had mold on it. The massage bed had a weird smell to it. The lady that massaged me was very rough to which I had to tell her to go easy numerous times. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. It’s extremely disappointing that they charge so much for any service. I wouldn’t take my dog there.
This place is great. I’ve been coming here for about 7 years. I’ve never had the same masseuse, but every massage I’ve had is great. They’re pricey but not super expensive and the quality of the massage is worth the cost. Also, the sauna is nice. The actual facility is not anything to write home about but it’s adequate. They’re not high maintenance and you can make a last-minute appointment, which is pretty rare and valuable for NYC.
I came here for a couple massage spa date- they got us champagne and chocolates from the beginning which was a very nice gesture. My masseuse was very thorough and I loved the entire 72 minutes of it. Definitely recommend.
MOSQUITOS! The spa is relaxing , staff is friendly, for an old spa downtown , they keep it tidy. Some of the furniture is a bit outdated but there is a sort of charm about it. My daughter and I had a foot massage and they did a nice job. I wish the chairs reclined but it was fine. The major issue was the massive amounts of mosquitoes. Once I got home I realized my entire legs were covered in dozens of bites !! We saw a couple mosquitoes at check out and realized we were going to be in trouble ! The humidity with the water and plants and heat in that place is a perfect breeding ground. They need to treat all their fountains and do something immediately because it’s a health hazard and not the best gift to take home after an expensive ($280 for my 10yo and I to get a foot rub) massage.
This place is a hidden gem. Every masseuse is well trained and has been here for years. I recommend Linda and Regine for a great massage everytime. Also had a facial which was so relaxing and my skin came out glowing! Best price and quality in the city!
