I’ve known the Azouz family a long time but this is my first time using their medical services and am I glad that chat GPT suggested him over a different doctor I was already seeing in the same building. The original Oncologist wanted to charge me 10x more than what the Azouz practice did for a painless surgery that took no longer then 5 minutes. Me and my bank account are glad that we found you on ChatGPT! Otherwise I would of not thought about contacting such a well reuptable family practice and would have been throwing thousands of dollars down the drain!!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Physician-to-Physician Interaction — Arrogant and Unprofessional I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Solomon Azouz after he responded to my inquiry on a physician community messenger regarding treatment for a recurrent right ankle cyst. He indicated that it was within his scope and shared his office information for scheduling. I replied with my contact details in case further coordination was needed, but received no follow-up communication. When I called to schedule the appointment, I offered my insurance information, which was declined over the phone. I asked again during the appointment reminder call and was told to bring it on the day of the visit. After driving a considerable distance, I faced immediate administrative challenges: I emailed my insurance information twice to registration, but they claimed they couldn’t access either message. While waiting, I overheard Dr. Azouz remark, “I don’t know who she is—of course she has to pay for the consultation.” I approached him and reminded him of our prior exchange. His response was dismissive and unprofessional: “We don’t accept insurance. You’ll need to pay for the consultation.” This was never disclosed during any of our prior communication. When he reiterated that payment was required, I prepared to leave. At that point, he said, “Well, since you’ve driven all the way here, let me at least take a look out of courtesy and give you my opinion.” While I appreciated the gesture, it wasn’t necessary—I was already familiar with the diagnosis and the next steps. It felt more like a half-hearted attempt to compensate for his earlier lack of empathy and professionalism than a genuine offer of help. His demeanor throughout the interaction was arrogant and condescending. At one point, a third staff member had to step in to diffuse the tension after I stated I no longer wished to be examined. When I said I would be leaving a review of my experience, Dr. Azouz responded that I couldn't do that—and insisted he would write one against me. If this is the way fellow physicians are treated, I truly worry about the experience of everyday patients. Transparency, respect, and professionalism were sorely lacking. Just laying this out in the open—there are plenty of superior plastic surgeons out there.

This practice is phenomenal. I have been exceedingly impressed with every detail, every piece of knowledge, professionalism, and care given. It’s difficult to provide that level of everything and still have the patient feel immediately very well cared for- like part of the family. I never felt stupid for any questions because both doctors allowed me to feel very comfortable… and his stories! He has seen everything! My husband feels strongly about doing business with intelligent, but very personable professionals and that’s exactly what the Dr. Azouz’s do. Dr. Azouz also has a special way of boosting your confidence- yes, he enhanced my chest and tummy, but he also spoke with me in a way that helped me enhance my overall well being. He has so much experience that he knew exactly what I needed when I walked in. One of the best parts is that I didn’t need any drains post op!! Apparently he is one of the only surgeons in Dallas to do the surgery in a way that doesn’t require drains. The surgery went exactly as planned, and post surgery was very manageable (I returned to work 2 weeks later, have a husband, a 10 year old, a 5 year old and a dog). My scars are not visible on my chest, and the line on my tummy is not gross. Love this place! Thank you!

Undoubtedly the best decision I could have made choosing Dr. Azouz. My issue was a hernia that was protruding from my abdominal area. I had seen other doctors that didn’t understated the severity of my hernia. I’m 54, heavy set woman, who eats natural farm to table food (rarely processed food). I have worked out with a personal trainer for 4+ years. So I’m in decent/good shape. I walk 5ks often. I am very active. I say all this to let you know that meeting Dr. Azouz was an experience of instantly knowing that I had found a Doctor that truly understood the concerns I had about my health and this hernia that seemed to be growing! He made sure I understood that he could help me. After getting tests confirming the ‘angry hernia’, Dr Azouz confidently and honestly told me that he could fix it and that that surgery would be very difficult and complicated. He was honest. Told me it needed to happen sooner over later and why. Answered all my questions directly and never made me feel like I was anything but a wonderful human that needed a tough surgery. When you are faced with this type surgery, you don’t want anyone but the best. Someone that checks on you as needed. Responds to concerns and walks side by side with you thru the entire process. In my case he felt he needed 2 surgeons in OR for the duration of the surgery. I appreciated that attention to detail and treating me like a human and not a number. And the care since surgery has been just as focused. He has stayed close to my case after surgery because that was what was required in my situation. My body has thrown us some ‘curveballs’ and he is there. He and his partner in surgery have continued to be responsive to me even when what I really needed was reassurance. I highly recommend his office for any surgery you consider. He has given me a new life by helping me take my health to the next level! Only the best! And Dr Azouz is the best! 10/2/19 I am 14 months post surgery, and I am still improving. I look back on the past year + and cant imagine doing the things I can do now that I couldn't do then. Again, Dr. Azouz and Dr Azouz2 gave me the personal care that only dedicated doctors can give. It was tough healing over the first few months but they were there by my side the whole way. Seeing them now is special for they have given me a gift that most doctors would never consider because they don't understand what it's like to be heavy due to genetics and not lifestyle!

Dr. Sol Azouz is amazing! I had liposuction for lipedema with him almost 2 months ago. My results were instant, he was (and is) always available for questions, and his bedside manner is unlike any other surgeon I’ve known. His nurse and office staff are both helpful and friendly. I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Azouz and would recommend him to anyone looking for surgery or a consult. He was able to diagnose me as soon as he met me and walked me through the entire process. He even accepts insurance and my surgery was 100% covered. So thankful for Dr. Azouz and his team! 5 stars isn’t enough.

Dr Azouz and his team are so friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Dr Azouz does a great job explaining all available options, and is very thorough in his approach. Definitely recommend this practice!

I received exceptional care from Dr. Azouz, his nurse Cassandra and his office staff. He made me feel comfortable at each visit, and calls to his office were answered immediately. Both times he was in his office and came to the phone himself to answer my questions. If you are searching for a surgeon to help in your Lipedema journey, look no further.

For my 50th birthday, I decided to address a couple of long-standing body image concerns and consulted with Dr. Azouz’s office. After visiting the practice and discussing my options, I chose to undergo gynecomastia surgery along with liposuction. I could not be more pleased with the results. Dr. David Azouz and Dr. Vitali Azouz performed the surgery and have supported me throughout the entire recovery process, which has gone extremely smoothly—exactly as they predicted. Incredibly, my body looks better than it has at any point in my life. The man-boobs that plagued me for years are gone, there is virtually no scarring, and for the first time ever, I feel confident taking my shirt off in public. Dr. David, Dr. Vitali, and the entire staff have been exceptional and treated me like a family member every step of the way.

I have been through the medical system and seen my fair share of doctors—truly good ones are not easy to find. Dr. Azouz is absolutely one of the good ones. He listens well, empathizes deeply, and works hard to make sure his patients are taken care of to the highest standard. He fights for and cares about his patients as whole people, considering not just their physical ailments but their emotional well-being as well. In other words, he treats you like a human, not a problem.

Dr. Azouz is the best. I had a grousome injury that originally wasn't detected in the ER and Dr. Azouz swooped in and made time to see me. Without him I wouldn't have all of my toes today.
