Herta is the 🎶best🎶 she makes every service pleasant and always has a good attitude. I’ve been seeing Herta for the last five years. I had been looking for a stylist that knew both cut and color. Herta is not only professional but also very knowledgeable about the needs of all types of hair care. She even rescued my daughter’s hair after she cut off a third of her hair. Can’t recommend her enough!

Another amazing experience getting my hair done at Harlow Salon! Herta did an incredible job with my color, as always, she truly never misses. My absolute favorite part, though, was the head massage I received from Payton Belcher during the shampoo. It was so relaxing and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! The blowout they both worked on turned out beautifully, and I left feeling like a million bucks. Thank you, Herta and Payton, for making every visit such a great experience!

Everything was remarkable. This was my first visit but absolutely not my last one. Kaile rescued me from a shmullet (is it a shag - or a mullet?) haircut from another salon. Neither style is remotely my persona but she listened, carefully evaluated my hair, was tuned to what I wanted and would be comfortable with to improve the style. She nailed it. I cannot wait for my hair color appointment. The entire staff was inviting and consultive. Other patrons there during my visit were clearly having an equally great experience. Highly recommended.

Harlow is a welcoming, clean, bright salon that makes me feel like I am in a knowledgeable and skilled space. Nikki is the best color/cut stylist out there. If you are the type of person who wants a stylist who can figure out your hair and get you the result you want every single time, then Nikki’s your girl. I’ve been seeing her for years, and through all the life things, and let me say that my style and color changes constantly, and she keeps up with me. She is great at listening to what I want and getting me results that are worth every hard-earned penny.

Harlow is hands down the best salon in Austin. As a true born-and-raised Austinite, I’ve been to so many salons — and I’ve definitely put my hair through it: extensions, highlights, lowlights, short cuts, full color changes… you name it. My hair reflects my mood, and the stylists at Harlow somehow make every single whim come to life flawlessly. Nikki is my go-to, but I’ve worked with several stylists and have never had anything short of an amazing experience. Sydney and Cici have saved me more than once, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anyone there — everyone is truly a master of their craft. And Colton? Absolute magic when it comes to booking appointments and keeping the vibes at an all-time high. I could go on and on, but you’ll just have to experience it for yourself. A salon experience that truly stands out! Harlow Beauty and Hair Salon is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is chic, relaxed, and welcoming from the moment you step through the door. My stylist was attentive, creative, and took the time to really understand what I was looking for — and the results were phenomenal. Every member of the team is talented and genuinely passionate about making you look and feel your best. The salon is spotlessly clean and beautifully styled. I leave every single visit feeling confident and happy. Harlow has earned a loyal customer in me!

I do not recommend this salon. They charged me a $150 chemical fee. I couldn’t even complain because they made me sign a form of me acknowledging it was a thing. But they said it would be maybe $50 to $100 max. I wasn’t happy with the color when I left because it looked like half my head wasn’t colored and I paid for a full. So I went back and they fixed it that one part. But after another inspection of my hair I noticed that part of the back still wasn’t colored. So I put it half up to see if the back of my head was colored and it’s not. A lot was missed. After paying $550 (not including the tips) I expected to have PERFECT hair and to be able to trust my stylist to do the back of my head. I’m very unhappy and will not be coming back. This was a HUGE waist of money because now I need to go to another salon to get it fixed

Harlow never disappoints!! Ali has been doing my hair for months now, and she kills it every single time. She gave me the perfect blonde, but my hair is still growing fast and feels strong a healthy. She goes out of her way to make sure you’re happy, and is the best at answering questions and making suggestions that will give you the best hair of your life. And the rest of the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and ready to hype you up!!! Great experience all around, no complaints!

I've been going to see Herta for over five years now. She really takes the time to listen and work with me to find a style that felt right, offering helpful suggestions without being pushy. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure clients leave happy. On top of that, everyone in the salon was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for both skill and a positive atmosphere.

This salon is so warm and welcoming. What really sets it apart is how the stylists genuinely collaborate with each other, and it shows in the quality of the work. Herta is absolutely wonderful--experienced, reliable, and someone I trust completely with my hair. She consistently delivers results that exceed my expectations, and my hair has never looked and felt better. My most recent look is dark purple with magenta highlights, and it's absolutely amazing--a coworker even called it "iconic!" Every single employee I've interacted with and who has jumped in to help with my hair has been so kind and gracious. It's clear this team truly loves what they do. Thank you, Harlow!
